somewhere only we know

This post is named somewhere only we know because I'm currently listening to it. Lol. I went for my interview at UM this morning. I was really nervous when I was waiting for my turn outside the room. But something happened that reminds how my life is all about miracles. I could hear and feel my own heartbeat. It was beating so fast; tupp .. tupp .. tupp .. tupp .. Like a bird fluttering madly inside where my heart should be.

Upon entering the interview room, I calmed down a lot. The panel asked me to tell them about myself. Honestly, I suck at telling people about myself. I don't know. It's not something you can just tell. I mean, if you wanna know about me . you got to know me. Instead, I told them something else about myself. The interview was brief. Basically talked about books and movie adaptation from some books. After the interview, I went and watch The Avengers with the bestie again.

I followed her to her workplace after the movie. And met someone. He came and told me something very funny. No, not really funny like funny but .. he told me that no one on this earth is useless. Everyone's here for a purpose be it small or big. Every little thing you do means a lot .. it's just that you don't realize it. He asked me to stop thinking that I'm useless. This is a very cozy place. Providing under-privilege children a chance to learn something they can't afford. Give them a purpose in life and also giving them a place that they can call home. They're al happy here. And most of them working here are volunteers.

If I've got the time, I'd wanna come here again too. It feels great, being a part of something that is changing people's life. Helping those who are in need. (:
