Pepsi : HIV Contaminated. #FTW (Bonus : Facebook Disease)

Howdy, earthlings. Ze blogger here is stealing some time LIKE A BOSS :D

Anyways, if you're facebook addict  user like I am, you'd probably realize this rumor spreading around about Chup, COCA-COLA Pepsi !

#facebook addict user

Something that goes like this ...

#DIY PEPSI #likeaboss :D

Honestly people, do you really need me to educate you how are HIV transmitted ? Even if you smooch over and over and OVER again with a HIV positive, you WILL NOT GET the virus ! Well, unless, you're experiencing gum bleeding, ulcer, etc. People, IT'S BASIC KNOWLEDGE CAN ?!!

Okay, even if you do not possess this basic human anatomy, biology, whatnot knowledge, don't you have common sense enough to even think for a second ? Lets say, this worker really CONTAMINATED those beverages with his HIV positive blood, you think spreading around messages like this can help ? Y U NO REPORT TO WHO ?!!!!!!

You I know Facebook is a very good social network to spread around news and whatnots, but PLEASE, people, before you share stuff like this, can you at least think ?! Or if you don't have a personal brain, you can always use the public one !

#public brain

So yeah ! And NO WAY I'm gonna stop drinking Pepsi, coke, etc for the NEXT FEW DAYS !

#drinking HIV Contaminated Pepsi like a BOSS ME GUSTA *duck face*

But honestly, I'm no big fan of these highly sugared, caffeinated, carbohydrate drinks, so that's only plain water, just so you know ! :D

And you know what, as much as I'm addicted to using facebook, I find some disease on it rather annoying and irritating.

I know you just love to share EVERYTHING, EVERY THOUGHT of yours on your favourite social networking site, it's really, completely unnecessary to always snap a shot of yourself a.k.a camwhore and publish it at your wall every now and then.

It's 11.11.11 !  Such a memorable day ! *takes photo with peace at the mouth*

It's 20.11.2011 ! So special ! *takes photo with peace at the mouth*

OMAIGAT !! It's DECEMBER !!!!!

It's pretty acceptable that if you post photos about your food, your vacation trip, some funny and interesting photos every now and then. But NO !!! It's all you taking photos when it's a brand new month, YOU taking photos before you sleep. Yeah, I know you'd say, you can unsubscribe me. Sure maynnn, that's exactly what I'll do.
With caption ; Huhuhu, I'm so sleepy, look at my ugly tired eyes ! SO UGLYYY >< Good night !

Really ? You really think it's ugly ?

Oh yeah, ONE more thing though,

Just so you know. ;)

What kinda facebook disease irritates YOU the most, my faithful readers ? Leave me a comment below :D

Lots of love,

Mich

p/s : Well, honestly, no offense to anyone here. I'm just basically venting my frustration here, so yeah ! Enjoy if you think it's funny or just ctrl+w :D

By the way, it's World Aids Day today =)

the best things in life

"The best things in life are free." Do you agree ?

This is the title for my MUET essay for trials.

When I saw this, I made up my mind agreeing with the statement without giving it a thought. Maybe I really wanted to get it done as soon as possible. Maybe I'm short-sighted that I got trapped by the word free. I jumped to a conclusion that when they mentioned free, it actually means things that we do not have to pay money for. I got the lowest mark in my history of essay writing. After reading my friend's essay on the very same topic, I've finally got the idea of what do they really mean by best things in life and free.

More often than never, confidence overwhelmed us and we tend to fail in thinking out of the box. "Best things in life" is a very general statement. It varies according to different people. Why ? Because every one of us has different perspective and experience in life despite how very same we might be. For instance, I might think reading is the best stress-releasing activity. But others might suggest some other activities. You might think the best thing in life is one's achievement, but I'd think the best thing in life is love. However, I have come to a point that I have to say, no matter what your definition for best things in life are, it is not free and never will be.

Maybe I should start with the most common thing that people said its free which is love. Love is free, they might say. But if you think deeply, no, it's not. Be it the love from your family, friend or your soul mate. Yes, love can be given unconditionally, but the price we paid, did you realize, is time ? Even family you need time not to mention friends and soul mate.

One will be very wrong if one is to think that the love from a mother is totally free. It's definitely not free. The risk she took and the perfect figure she gave up in order to conceive a small life that she will later on have to put infinite time and care raising that little life up is nothing some mere dollar bills can measure. That's the best example from family love.

And friends, how much time spent creating memories and gaining trust in order to build up a strong and loving friendship ? I'm hundred percent positive that you don't love a friend that you've made an hour ago. All these need plenty efforts and time.

Your soul mate too, you spend time together from small conversations to get to know each other to complications with heartbreaks and tears involved in the whole process until you can actually hold him/her in your arms. What has been involved ? Time. And for most guys, of course, the ultimate courtship.

In simple English, best thing in life is not free, anything at all. You always have to either give up something or go through something in order to gain something else. Because, life as we know it needs exchanges. Before this, I've always think that best things in life are free. We do not have to pay for love, we do not have to pay for life. If only money wise, yes .. There are many things that we don't have to pay money to get it. But efforts put in, time sacrificed ? Those are things more worthwhile than some dollar bills.

Why did I change my mind ? Someone convinced me with the most simple act.

I shared this on facebook, and said that I supposed this is free. He came and told me no. It's not, nothing is, because it requires courage. Unconvinced, I challenged, how much you paid ? And he answered this :

It's some simple teasing but it  triggers me into thinking .. well, true enough, nothing IS free. Holding  someone's hand that you love needs courage and obviously love. Then again, without time and effort, love and courage don't just fall out of the sky into your lap, do they ?

It must be some trend tumblr has indeed developed because you can see people sharing photos, pictures with quotes everywhere.

If I have to pick my favorite out, it'd be the one about love is friendship set on fire and the one about one of the best things in the world along with #1, #5, #7 and #8 !

And he ended his essay with something like this : In order to get the best things in life, we have to give up ignorance. It's not exactly the same but hopefully the meaning is still there.

Life's short, don't wait until it's too late.

Y U NO PARK SOMEWHERE ELSE

I should be studying. In fact I was looking for note from the same old blog I used to visit until .. well .. my finger just worked their way to open another new tab and logged into facebook page. Completely their fault ! Not mine. Right .. and guess what, one of my friend posted a YouTube link with the title ..

#Tesco Malaysia : Unreasonable Woman Who "Snatched" People's Parking

I usually don't watch this kind of videos because firstly, it's crap. Secondly, it's lame. But out of the blue I played it and thanks to the smoothness of my line, it played smoothly too. Here is the link to the video in case you might wanna watch.

And HERE is the briefing on what actually happened in MY opinion. The driver auntie was waiting for a parking and somehow the yellow shirt auntie cut queue and parked the parking the driver auntie was waiting for. Then, obviously, this driver auntie must have said something to this yellow shirt auntie provoking her "fire". And so, they ended up shooting each other. Then obviously again, the whole process was being recorded and uploaded into YouTube for the whole wide world to know how Malaysian Chinese Women behave when they got cut while waiting for parking or rather when they got confronted "snatching" parking.

But I somehow find some viewers comments are hilarious ..

Honestly, though I know that Police in Malaysia are very hardworking. On call 24/7. You seriously think they accept report on someone cutting queue for .. what ? Parking ? What should you say ?

"I would like to lodge a report, sir. A Chinese lady in yellow(probably a bersih member) just 'snatched' my parking lot at Tesco."

Now that this commenter mentioned the yellow auntie's husband, I found it quite funny that at some point in the video, she told her kid to ask for "baba" which means the kid's father and also her husband. But in the end, the guard turned up. I heard wrongly or what ?!

Now now .. THAT hits a nerve. What does all this nonsense got anything to do with being Chinese and Malaysia ? Just because it happens IN Malaysia and both are Chinese women doesn't mean this is what we ARE ! Similar cases happens too among other races and this doesn't mean a specified race is stupid. And this video ALONE doesn't represent the WHOLE Malaysia ! HELL, of course it DOESN'T !

Well, I know many people out there are really racist. My parents, to be real honest, are racist sometimes. But this is very narrow minded for certain people to judge and call we, Chinese, as a stupid race. You know many stuff happen around in Malaysia involves a lot other races which can be really imbecilic.

You see being racist is actually like a allergy reaction.

There must be something that triggers you and affects you directly causing your brain to transmit the racist cells. My father can be scolding something bad about any races while driving on the road, but he still can tag along with Malays co-workers and sometimes talk about how both Chinese and Malays are being unreasonable.

You can call a Chinese stupid if he kicked you in the ass. You can call a Malay brainless if he stole your phone. You can call an Indian idiot if he raped your cat. Well, not the he will.

But when you're just a youtube user watching videos online and telling the world, Chinese in Malaysia are stupid, rude etc .. it's just plain .. idiotic. YES .. it's affecting me directly that's why i can call those commenter IDIOT !

And then this,

Malaysians HAS have turned into a bunch of illiterate cowboys. SO .. he/she is saying he/she is one of them since by the end of the comment, he/she stressed that he's/she's a Malaysian too. How very funny. Don't you know Malaysia is the only country that provides free education until you're 18 ? (It's considered free in government schools even though certain fees are compulsory to be paid besides, you don't have to buy textbooks in here, do YOU ?)

You see, one thing I'm sure about Malaysians is that, they are very easily sidetracked. They lose their focus easily. Like some body bombing case, like some body off some building case and some auntie snatching parking case. I'm a good example. See, I'm easily sidetracked but I'm clearly NOT stupid.

Actually, if my parking lot was to be taken unreasonably, I'd smile and wait until the driver gets in the mall. Then .. I'll take out my favorite 50 cents coin and show some creative work. If you know what I mean. Haha, just kidding. :D

Yours truly,

Mich

p/s : Actually, I wasn't feeling that all happy about something that came up lately in my life. So, no offense to anyone, i'm just venting my own frustration on something else. but i really got pissed about those comments.

maybe i should really keep a safe distance which i should have done way earlier. hope it's not too late. yes, i failed at guarding my emotion again. sigh. till then. :'(

parody of life.

there are sayings that goes : things happen in and only in one way. it doesn't matter what options or choices you have because despite the numerous possible outcomes only one will happen in the end. still, decision makes up most of our life. in fact, our life revolves around decisions.

every single decision that we've made brought us to where we are. i guess that's how we grow. do you remember when you were young (or you probably still are now) and were trying to find your style and your way ?

one afternoon, i was waiting for bus in front of my school. it was quite late and all my friends were by then gone home. there was this junior of mine that is form three i guess, but he's convincing enough to be form one. he was wearing a mushroom hairstyle. i think he had gotten bored or whatsoever, i don't know, and he took out a rubber band and a comb. he tied up a small pony tail at the back of his head. an indian guy was curious enough to ask him why he did that and said he looked weird. the young man simply said, i want to be special and i want to look special, that's my style. the indian guy just smiled.

he was trying to create a unique style of himself, to create an identity that belongs to him. isn't that exactly what we have once been doing too ? but most of the time, instead of finding our style, we're actually following a culture that the society has long created. like following the trend or doing something you think that it's different from others. but the truth is, that's exactly what everyone else is doing, too.

When i was a kid, i've always wanted to be a grown-up because :
- i can wear dresses, stilettos
- i can make up and style my hair
- i can start working because everyone was asking about my ambition
- i can go wherever i want
- i don't have any curfews or possibilities of being grounded.

But, as time passes by, i realize :
- i stop reading comics or watching cartoons but newspaper and novels
- i don't cook with my toys in the living room but starts cooking in the kitchen
- i stop craving after the latest barbie but branded stuff
- i can get married if i want to.

Sadly, the biggest realization is, being a grown-up, one :
- needs to be matured
- needs to be professional
- needs to be responsible
- needs to earn loads of money
- needs to make all sorts of decisions
- needs to know who you're messing around with
and a lot more "needs" to be aware of.

Survival is a Dying Art

Initially, i wanted to name this post as of life hammer and car jack (you'll know about this later). But, i think the post title you now see is way better.

They were having some sort of exhibition about road safety in school today. They started the exhibition with talks in the hall. I can tell you that no one is really paying attention despite the one who was giving the speech is the founder of the Road Safety Department of Malaysia and also the one who got Malaysian to buckle up passenger's seat belts. (i didn't know too OTL).

But until a guy stood in front of the hall projecting images of the aftermaths of earthquakes, accidents and other disasters, the hall was almost silent. When he started to talk (he told off some random guy who didn't give a damn to pay attention), the whole hall was quiet. He's Captain Balasupramaniam or better known as Capt. Bala. He came to share his experience and and taught us the importance of surviving disasters or any form of accidents. And he introduced us to a small but life-saving device : Life Hammer !

#key chain version
#bigger hand-held version

To be honest, i didn't even know what is a life hammer before today !! But now i know. The small one, pink color one, it can cut seat belts and break windows in case of emergency ! The big one has an addition of SOS lights.

He told us how he saved lives using these small tools. During a car accident, the seat belts are not likely to release and its very hard to cut, but this little thing can do the job perfectly. And it breaks windows so that you can escape not only out of your car but also out of a burning building.

# a car jack

Capt. Bala explains to us that a car jack can also help save lives ! Not only to change tires but to help release casualties that are in anyways trapped between gaps or gates and so on.

That was a very short talk he gave but the most knowledgeable one ! Apart from this two tools (he's not a salesman laa !), he taught us on how to evaluate if a car that catches fire still can be save and what to do if you encounter a car that is about to explode but you there's no way you can run ! =) If only more Malaysians are to be exposed to this kind of speech, the accident and dying rate will be much lower..Because with all these knowledge, they won't just stop their car and WATCH what is going on instead of helping ! =,=

Graduates might be everywhere, but not all of them possess surviving skills ! Not even the basic ones.

Summing up all my babbles, Captain Bala's speech is pretty much appreciated ! And i added the life hammer to my Mich-List..hahahaha ! Wondering if i should make it as a gift to my family members too..LOL !

Had dinner with my family at Sri Petaling yesterday ! AWESOME ! And yes, it was with nicky too ! Hehe..

And whoops...the frequency of my posts is kinda bombarding no? Sigh...who cares...i SS only...=X

Lotsa love,

Mich

of love and time...

They were passing around handouts at school this morning when i got there. Usually, this kind of handouts end two ways : rubbish bin or recycle bin. But the title captivated me - Love and Time.

Ready for a story time ? =) I guarantee it's worth your time !

Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived : Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge and others including Love. One day, it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so all feelings constructed boats and left. Except for Love.

Love was the only one who stayed. Love wanted to hold out until the last possible moment.
When the island almost sunk, Love decided to ask for help.

Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Love said : Can you take me with you?
Richness answered : No, I can't ! There's a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There's no place for you.

Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel.
Love : Vanity, please, help me !
Vanity : I can't, Love ! You're all wet and you might damage my boat.

Sadness was close by, so Love asked : Sadness, let me go with you.
Sadness : Oh, Love, I'm so sad that i need to be by myself !

Happiness passed by Love too, but she was too happy that she did not even hear when Love called her.

Suddenly, there was a voice : Come, Love, I will take you. It was an elder. So blessed and overjoyed, Love forgot to ask the elder where they were going. When they arrived at dry land, the elder went his own way. Realizing how much she owed the elder, Love asked Knowledge, another elder : Who helped me ?
Knowledge : It was Time.
Love : Time ? Why did Time help me ?
Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and answered : Because only Time is capable of understanding how valuable Love is...

#image : google

Because only time is capable of understanding how valuable love is...

I was quite awed after reading this short story that took me less than 10 minutes to finish. Maybe it's not that special-the story- but it's like sort of enlightened me. When i look around me, i couldn't help but start wondering one thing : What is love ?

And how many out there really understand what love is ? It dawned upon me that, I, in so many ways, haven't really understand what love is. Time is still teaching me and am still gladly learning that love is not only mere affection.

=)

Ohh...my work loads are lining up now ! What with societies reports(secretary) and trips to organize ! I don't have the time to actually catch up with those left out chapters of my literature novels and short stories ! Ughh...a minor test is just around the corner and i already can feel failure gripping my limbs !!!!!

Lotsa love,

Mich
