of swings and slides

Hello, June.

I bet you've never seen them in any of my blog entry. That's because it's been ages since I really spent any time with them. I still see them every now and then during family occasions, but it was all so very brief.

When I was a couple of years younger, I always visit them at Johore and vice versa. One of their favorite spot was the park outside KLCC. I still remember when I was younger, I'd run around with them, finding the highest slide available. Only when I was younger.

Yesterday, they came to my house, wanting to see me. And once again, we went to Klcc's playground. It has been so many years since I set foot there, the playground, not the mall. It's like a trip down memory lane. I've been there with so many kids. With them the most.

It's when I realize, I'm way too old for slides.

But I'm so glad to see them running around .. eyes shinning with pure excitement. So young, so innocent .. so real. Untainted. It's a time when simple things can satisfy them while not having much to think of.

I miss the simplicity of a simple and ignorant childhood.
