Before i begin, let this video do the talking...
So, this is basically what i'm gonna share with you today, Pay it Forward (PIF). Since we were kids
, we were exposed to the importance of helping others and life as we know it is all about helping each other. If you still remember, parents and teachers taught us to help without hoping for any rewards in return.
But the fact is, as we grow, the SOCIETY turn us into human beings who help either intentionally or unintentionally for something in return. Be it money or a favor. This is sad. The world should not be like this.
What is PIF?
Originally, PIF is a book written by Catherine Ryan Hyde which is also an idea. An action plan within a book. Since this book was released in 2000, a real-life social movement has emerged. In the same year a movie adapted from this book was made.
The story was about a young boy who did 3 good deeds for others in need and it changed their life. In return, all that the child wanted was they pass on the good deed to three other people and keep the cycle going.

Pay It Forward Stories
-A complete stranger paid $10,000 so that one lady could have a liver operation that she otherwise could not have afforded. She still does not know who it was who ‘paid it forward’ on the day, but she is forever grateful.
-One lady contacted a hospital to see if there were any needy families that could use some flights which she wouldn’t be able to use. As a result one family was able to travel across Australia to be with their very sick family member in hospital.
-One boy noticed a car was just about to receive a ticket. He asked his mum if he could top up the parking meter to stop the person getting booked. It saved someone a $79 fine.

Over the years, 28 countries are already involved on this international PIF cause and are doing their part. But sadly, Malaysia, a considered developed country aren't on the 28 countries list. This Pay it Forward awareness in Malaysia is still lacking. In fact, 7 out of 10 Malaysian doesn't even know what it is.
Now that you're exposed to this concept, be one of the rare Malaysians to start spreading around this concept and help those who need your help no matter how simple the matter might be.
We BEGIN from SMALL things.
Mother Theresa said: If you can't feed a hundred people, then just feed one.
I remember that i was exposed to this concept when i was in form five by my besties : Nandini, Sam and Ayumi. It was left aside when i was having all sorts of things to work on like SPM and all. Not until recently that this cause came back to me when i joined Youthsays (introduced by a friend). Through youthsays, i realized that as a blogger or someone who like to crap like me could do much more than only rambling about MY life.
So what are you waiting for?
